London Fashion Weeks is over for another season – sad face. The celebs! The trends! The parties! It was pretty lush, and 3 shows stood out as our faves.

As a Skinnydip stockist, we are always rooting for Topshop and the Unique shows, which as usual drew in the industry’s finest like banging honey Olivia Palermo. Touching on 90’s rave culture, key pieces included PVC minis, chain zip collars, cut-out dresses and the season hero – slogan tees.

Despite the collection being a throwback, the high-street giant kept themselves firmly in the present with everything on the catwalk able to buy immediately.

We always like to embrace the fun in fashion because you know, yolo, and we feel Molly Goddard is our soul sister for the same reasons.  Picking up the title ‘most Instagrammed dress of LFW’ from ELLE, Goddard expanded on her trademark princess dresses with a blue tiered gown on a skinhead model that blew us away while also incorporating everyday, wearable items in the range such as A-line smocks, sheer layering and zip detail knitwear.

Chicas were seated on overflowing dinner tables before walking their looks for the FROW, continuing the love affair brand houses are having with interactive catwalk experiences.

As LFW was coming to an end and we all felt stuffed to the brim with the never ending buffet of FASHUN, Ashish revived us all by recreating the yellow brick road, turning models into Lucha Libre idols and blasting political statements across his trademark sequin extravaganza.

Emotionally charged, the show began with George Michael’s ‘Faith’ before babes and brawns hit the runway in rainbow stripe pieces with uniting slogans including ‘As Often as Possible Be Polite and Kind'.  If there ever was a collection symbolizing the importance to come together as one this was it.
