Four intense exfoliation sessions later, we are still finding glitter on random patches of skin after an amazing first weekend at Coachella. We rode the Ferris wheel, drank a lot of vodka slushies and hit some amazing parties, but our favourite part of the palm springs music pilgrimage is always spotting trends we can wear all summer.

 1. Cut-offs were front and centre, and our fave super honey we spotted matched her head tie to her sunshine shorties for a 90’s throwback look that Aaliyah would have rocked in-between being gorgey and repping those sweet pipes. Too nervous to go all in? Try layering tonal colours before committing to a full colour look.

2. Insta worthy hair has always been a festival hit for it-girls, and King Kylie continued her love affair with wigs, debuting a bold purple bob version to host a party, before switching to a highlighter-yellow similar style for the true definition of new weave, new me. Working it for the natural hair chicas was Katy Perry roaming the site with Jeremy Scott and her major new close crop do, dyed peroxide blonde for extra punk points.

3. We are always flying the flag for summer sparkle, and Victoria’s secret model (and Skinnydip fan no less) Devon Windsor got glitzy with a gem laden maxi, while Ri Ri gave us life in a head-to-toe second skin shimmer catsuit – both of which avoided looking too girly by easing off make-up and additional accessories. Get involved with a metallic bumbag.

4. Festivals usually mean flesh, right? Nuh-uh! Sofia Richie and Kendall switched the look up by pairing bralets with supersize wide-leg trousers to play with styling proportions and add a dash of androgyny to their ensembles, keeping their cool girl crowns in place. Not only did they sidestep sunburn, but also stood out from a sea of florals to rule the edgy vibe.

Festival season has officially started! EEEE!
