We caught up with the Chloe the designer of Chlobo below...
Hi Chloe, can you tell us why you started ChloBo?
At 21 I went travelling & fell in love with the Indonesian island of Bali. After 3 months I was totally inspired by the the wonderful people and the amazing silver, here marked the birth of ChloBo! Returning home to the UK, I transformed my spare bedroom into my studio & began making bracelets with the aim of reflecting the heart and soul that I had experienced in Bali.
Where does the brand name come from?
It’s a name my Mum has always called me from a little girl!
Where do you get inspo for your designs?
I love to travel and find that I am most inspired when I am in a new place. The influence behind my latest collection - Sun Dance was my trip to Burning man Festival last year. The colours reflect the sense of the tribal setting I felt whilst in the Nevada desert and the charms in the collection symbolise strength, adventure, the sun and freedom.
How would you sum up a ChloBo girl in 3 words?
Boho, Hippy, Free Spirit
Whats keeping you busy at the moment?
I am about to showcase my AW15 Collection to all of my retailers. I am also working on my SS16 Range which will include a trip back to Bali!
Favourite piece of jewellery to date?
That’s a tough question! I love my Iconic stack of Bracelets, each one has a different meaning and tells a story. I am especially excited about wearing my AW collection which has a very hippie / 70’s vibe!
What's next for the brand?
There are lots of exciting things happening at ChloBo! We have just launched our brand new website and we are about to begin a National Advertising campaign starting in Grazia!
