In this weeks Brand Focus we chat to Jaymie O'Callaghan, both an illustrator and jewellery designer! We are loving her super cute creations! If you're a lover of fun and girly illustrations and accessories Jaymie is your go-to gal.
We caught up with her below in a Q&A chatting inspiration and would you rather, have a read!

How long have you been drawing for?
I was always massively into art when I was growing up. I use to watch my Dad sketch with great interest and seeing my older brother and sister draw for their school projects, I would so look forward to being able to have my own homework (what was wrong with me!) But I’ve been freelancing for about 4 years.

How would you describe your illustration style?
Oh tricky! I reckon it's quite girly and fun.

Where do you get your inspiration from?
Fashion, books, magazines, films and directors - Sophia Coppola and Wes Anderson always offer up some dream like inspiration.

Do you have a favourite medium to work with?
The main medium I use is; Watercolour paints, art graphic pens and uniball sketch pens.

If you had to choose between illustrating or your jewellery designing, do you have a favourite?
I go through phases where one is my favourite to do, then the next day I might prefer the other. But I would probably say designing and making jewellery… if I did have to choose. Just because it incorporates both elements, both drawing and fashion/ accessories.

And finally, what's your favourite piece from the Skinnydip collection?!
I LOVE the lips bag and the eye print phone case (Both of which I have and adore)
