Sassy jumpers? Check! Embroidered leather? Check? New girl crush? Check! Hannah Beth Fincham is our new girl crush and an all around total babe! We guess you have seen Hannah's designs before on the likes of Rita Ora and Fearne Cotton but for those of you who are unfamiliar, Hannah's own named brand ticks all the fashion boxes.

The London based designer creates bespoke hand made pieces along with playful embroidered jumpers and tee's. New to Hannah's collection are mermaid leather clutch bags... Need we say more? We think not!

We caught up with Hannah below...

What’s your favourite piece that you’ve created so far?
This is a tricky one as I have a couple; the Disney Vintage jacket took a lifetime to make because I used very small studs to create the geometric designs, so it was quite intricate work, so I treasure this piece. I also love my newest 'Blue Suede Dream' jacket, which is such a gorgeous shade of blue and because it has an insane amount of pearls on it.

What influences your designs?
I think it’s hard to pinpoint what influences yourself as you can be influenced without knowing it. I get inspiration just flicking through my favourite magazines or walking down Brick Lane. But I’m a sucker for scrolling through Pinterest and I’m always drawn to the incredible work of Balmain and Dolce & Gabbana, both Kings of embroidery and embellishment which is my favourite area.

How has travelling inspired your collection?
I think my use of colour and love for embroidery have both been triggered from travelling. I still plan to do a collection inspired by different traditional clothing from around the world.

How would you describe a Hannah Beth Fincham girl?
Someone who wears whatever they like and who isn’t dictated by trends, just a desire to be different and unique.

What’s been the highlight of your career so far?
Definitely having a piece in an editorial in InStyle. It’s a magazine both my mum and I love, so was a great feeling seeing my name in there. I also loved seeing Daisy Lowe out and about in her Mr Fox denim jacket.

How does it feel seeing people like Cara Delevingne and Rita Ora in your creations?
It’s a great feeling, it’s a real motivation for me when I’m going through a stressful period with the business and it also inspires me to work harder and produce new, unique designs.

Where do you see the brand going in the future?
Branching out into different garments such as dresses and showcasing my other love of 'Grunge meets Beach', a more understated style I'm excited to bring to life.
