If you’re looking for delicate, subtle yet unique pieces to add to your jewellery collection, Bam-B are your girls. Founded in 2013 by friends and graduates Brittany and Caitlin, the brand’s signature style combines simple elegant necklaces with funky wearable rings and that are the perfect understated sparkle to any outfit. Whether you want to make a statement by stacking silver and gold bangles or jazz up your ears with a three ring cuff, Bam-B are a brand that are fast gaining recognition. We caught up with the girls to pick their brains about their company!

How did Bam-B come about?
Brittany and I started BAM-B without really realising it after graduating from the University of Arts London. We were both planning on getting somewhat nine to five jobs in the arts industry; whilst living together we started to make small jewellery pieces to take on holiday, to wear on the beach. Whilst on holiday people began asking where they could get the pieces from and if we were selling them.

I guess it started from there really and on our return to London we began to design more and more pieces as well as deciding on each others roles for BAM-B.

We then launched our first collection whilst exhibiting within friends Art Galleries in and around London, acquiring a small following and a mass of emails asking where they could buy. Which led us to set up an online store and BAM-B has organically grown from there.

How would you describe a Bam-B girl?
A BAM-B woman is confident in herself and fashion forward.

Who’s your biggest inspiration?
We have so many. Mainly affluential, successful women also in the industry, such as Stella Mc Cartney, Monica Vinader, Victoria Beckham. The list goes on.

What’s your favourite piece in the current collection?
Our favourite piece has to be the little signet pinky ring, its an every day piece. But overall our favourite piece is definitely the Anuket Ring.

What has been your greatest achievement so far?
Its funny because you start to not realise your achievements until you take a step back, you just keep moving on to the next thing and on to the next thing. Theres always something to achieve next. I guess an achievement would be people buying our jewellery and loving our designs - thats pretty sweet.

If you were invisible for a day, you would…
I would pretend to haunt people. That would be fun.

What’s next for Bam-B?
We are focusing on our next collection which will debut next year, we are looking forward to showcasing at London Fashion Week and we hope to acquire some of our wishlist of stockists.
