We first came across blogger Maddy when she blogged about her Skinnydip Venus clutch bag over Christmas. Styled with bright and bold colours we knew we loved this girls style. London born Maddy is currently studying Fashion Communication at Central Saint Martins and when not at collage you will find her doing photography or shopping in a East London thrift store. Fun fact about Maddy? She has a mischievous ginger moggy called Tommy whose mum is a model for GoCat cat food! 

What inspired you to start your blog?
I've always had a passion for fashion and photography but I noticed that there was a lack of blogs which combined the two in a way that would attract young people such as myself. I decided to create a blog which combined an aesthetic evaluation of fashion with the visual narrative of photography. As a fashion student I am used to shooting look-books and editorial fashion shoots, which I try to imitate in my blog posts. I use my blog as a way of documenting my changing, eclectic style so you'll never get bored! Since starting my blog it has featured on websites including Vogue, Teen Vogue, Tatler, Nylon and Glamour!

Describe your style.
I would brand my style as very conflicting. I never stick to one style or look. I love mixing classic elegant pieces with edgy pieces that most people would usually turn their noses up at. I love wearing unusual looking garments and accessories as I believe there is beauty within everythng. You could say I'm a bit of an exhibitionist but I use fashion as a way of expressing my personality. 

What piece of clothing could you not live without?
I recently purchased a pair of metallic Underground Creepers which I have seriously fallen i head over heels with. They may be rather bold but they look good with everything and brighten any dull outfit!

What will you be wearing during LFW?
I haven't planned anything yet as I prefer planning my outfits by how I feel on the day. I previously wore and acid yellow jacker and face veil to LFW, so I have a lot to live up to this season.

Favourite designer?
At the moment I'm loving Meadham Kirchoff and his recent collaboration with Topshop. He is the only designer that makes neon coloured fur and knitted shorts look so good. I'm also loving Marques Almeida as they make frayed denim look so elegant; I'm also fortunate to work with them as part of my course!

If you could raid someones wardrobe, whose would it be?
Isabella Blow. I adore her eccentric yet demure sense of style as it so iconic and unique. Imagine playing with all of those one off pieces from Alexander McQueen and Phillip Treacy! 

What's your favourite item from the Skinnydip collection?
I LOVE everything from Skinnydip London but in particular I love the Venus embellished clutch which I got for Christmas. I adore the clutch because its so unusual; I love the mixture of neon jewels with the transparency of the plastic. It adds an instant sparkle to any outfit and it is very versatile since it is see-through material. Plus it reminds me of the plastic clutches Chanel produced last summer, yet they're nowhere near as fun as the Skinnydip versions! 

Style tip?
I can't emphasise how important it is to be yourself! Dress how you want - who cares what others think as its better to be noticed that unnoticed? Even though I get a few odd looks and comments about what I wear, I am very confident with my style as it is a symbol of my personality. I would never wear just jeans and a t-shirt as I'd feel less confident. 

What is your most treasured possession?
I inherited (more like stole) my dad's biker jacket from the 1980s. Although it's rather worn, it's a staple of my wardrobe because it compliments my evolving style. Some days I love to pair with delicate laces or florals, and other days I like to "punk" it up and wear a mixture of tartan, bleached denim and Doc Martins. Although this jacket is older than me I love it and hope it will become a family heirloom!

Who was the last person you chose to follow on Instagram?
I recently followed Alexa Chung after reading her scrap-book publication "IT" which I'm a little obsessed with. Her Instagram is basically a digital version of the book!

What is your dream career?
There are so many jobs that I'd love to do but ideally I would love to work for an international fashion magazine as an editor, creative director or stylist. I've grown up in London so I'd  love to expand my fashion skills in another fashionable capital like Paris, Tokyo or New York.

If you were invisible for a day you would...
Probably raid Selfridges and Liberty, try on every Louboutin, diamond and Chanel bag in sight. I'd also sneak into the V&A museum and try on the vintage Haute Couture.
